U2 are scheduled to play a free concert at the Brandenburg Gate in order to mark 20 years since the crash of the Berlin Wall.

If you can’t get a free ticket for the show, you can still get U2 tickets from Worldticketshop for other shows!

According to a recent BBC article U2 manager Paul McGuinness said, “It’ll be an exciting spot to be in, 20 years almost to the day since the wall came down. Should be fun.”

The gig, to take place November fifth, is part of the MTV Europe Music Awards in the German capital and will come before which are marking the anniversary.

The band moved to Berlin in 1990 to reinvent their sound for their hit album Achtung Baby, which was recorded at the city’s Hansa Studios.

Hey... Great to see you back!
