Nicollete Sheridan to Leave Desperate Housewives For Good

Although Nicolette Sheridan, better known as the seductress Edie Britt in Desperate Housewives, has left the tv series twice before she will now be leaving never to return again.
According to E! Online, the sexy divorcee, who has received a Golden Globe award for her merits in the series, will be written out of the series in April. Edie will die as a consequence of her husband’s attempts to kill her and although the exact circumstances of her death are yet unclear, Edie is to die “in an accident that involves her car and an electrical wire”.
Desperate Housewives fans have already expressed their dissaproval on hearing about Edie’s sudden departure from the series, but Nicolette has stated that she is looking forward to a new project.
The producers expects ratings to suffer form Nicolette’s departure but have also confirmed that they will go to lenghts to regain their audience and have suggested that Teri Hatcher’s and Eva Longoria’s character might be involved in an intimate moment…
