Madonna Wants to Adopt Another Child

Madonna is reportedly going to Malawi this weekend in order to adopt another child. This time, the queen of pop wants a girl. The girl that Madonna has set her sights on is apparantly an orphan, whose situation in life will improve considerably when she’ll live with Madonna. Madonna already has a child from Malawi; she adopted Malawian boy David Banda in 2006, together with Guy Ritchie. Apparantly, going through divorce does not change Madonna’s wish to expand her family.
The adoption of David Banda caused a lot of controversy, since the boy did have a father he was living with. Banda’s biological father Yohane however claims to be very much aware of what he has agreed on with Madonna and Guy Ritchie. Ever since, Madonna has been considering getting David a Malawian brother or sister:
“Many people – especially our Malawian friends – say that David should have a Malawian brother or sister. It’s something I have been considering but would only do if I had the support of the Malawian people and the government.”
Probably, with the girl being an orphan, this adoption will be less complicated!
